Founder, therapist, supervisor
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, and life transitions and have extensive training in trauma-focused methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through the International Association EMDRIA. I am nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a foundation for personal growth and self-understanding.
As a queer person, I have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ folks and have experience writing letters for gender affirming care.
With a trauma lens, I tend to dive into what's truly underneath. Therapy can take time! AND as an action-oriented person, expect to take home tools to help you in the day-to-day and goals/homework for you to focus on while I'm not around. I enjoy working with a range of ages as long as it fits within my specialty.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually surrounded by my favorite people and creatures—my wife, our newest addition, Baby Jack (who joined us last summer), and our lively crew of two dogs and two cats.Creativity is where I let myself be imperfect on purpose—whether I’m making delightfully wobbly pottery, knitting pieces with uneven edges, or practicing embroidery (which often ends with tangled thread and a few accidental needle pokes).
As a trauma therapist, I also value staying grounded through movement, and yoga is one of my favorite ways to reconnect with myself and the mind-body relationship. I LOVE learning and am often the person saying, “I just heard this great thing…”—whether it’s a new intervention, a fascinating fact, or a quote from another therapist or helping professional. Conferences, new books, and thought-provoking podcasts keep me endlessly inspired.

Supervised Therapist
I am a pre-licensed therapist who brings a grounded, compassionate, and relational presence to my work with clients. I support children, adolescents, and adults by drawing from play therapy, attachment-based models, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and trauma-informed practices. My work is centered on collaboration and creativity. I strive to help clients understand their internal worlds, build emotional awareness, and strengthen relationships. I am especially passionate about supporting clients navigating anxiety, stress, perfectionism, emotion regulation, family dynamics, and identity exploration.
I am committed to providing thoughtful, culturally responsive care and creating a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to work toward meaningful change. I value a holistic, person-centered approach that honors each person’s strengths, lived experiences, and goals.
Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. You can usually find me hiking, chasing sunsets, crocheting a blanket, or finding any excuse to be near water. I am always on the lookout for new local trails, cozy coffee shops, and small everyday adventures. I value connection, humor, and authenticity – messiness, imperfections, and all!email: greta@thecrivelloclinic.com
